We had an absolute blast last week with about 50 of you filling the house! Shoutout to our incredible regulars who keep the energy electric—Liberty and family, Brittanie, Victoria, Jess the Librarian, and Jacob & Lisa. We also saw some fantastic new faces, and honestly, we love you already and want you back every single week. Speaking of last week, your random art submissions were exceptional. This week, we are channeling a little bit of that sharp wit from the peanut gallery. Oh, and to a certain table of lovelies with a mean streak who vocally pointed out my late blurb last week... I hear you, I appreciate the "encouragement," and yes, this week's blurb is officially ON TIME! 😉. So, this Wednesday, draw a rose with thorns on the front of your Round 2 Funky Bingo card. Here is what went down last game:
- 🗺️ Round 1: "Been There, Sang That" – We took a musical trip around the world with songs dedicated to places, spaces, and destinations.
- ❓ Round 2: "Who Dat?" – We flipped the script! You heard the song, but you had to rack your brain to name the actual artist or group. It turns out "Who Dat?" is the official catchphrase of a stumped bingo team.
- ⏳ Round 3: "Short Shorts Part 3" – A fast and furious round dedicated entirely to tracks clocking in under 2 minutes and 59 seconds. Plenty of golden oldies and short-but-sweet hits!
- 🎸 Round 4: "Classic Rock Part 2" – We cranked the volume and kept this final round rolling as long as humanly possible to maximize your chances. It paid off big time—we added a staggering 27 names to the wheel! Yippee!
- 🕺 The Zander Update – A special shoutout to Zander, who did his absolute best to not get a Funky Bingo—or win anything else beneficial last week. We are all crossing our fingers that he actually boned up on his music knowledge this week instead of just relying on the girls to identify every track. Oh, and Zander? Work on that moonwalk, buddy.
